Leopard spotlighted by last rays of sun

Leopard at last light

In many of the behavior guides ofafrican mammals, leopards are classified as mainly nocturnal. This is often true but in areas where leopards don't feel persecuted or harassed they can be very active during the day. My favourite time to photograph leopard is at first or last light when the suns rays do create that edgy, contrasty light that enhances the leopard's camouflaging abilities.
