The Chitabe pack of wild dogs are in for an interesting few months- not only is there 3 females pregnant but the area has been flooded with lions since the 2 dominant male lions have been ousted. There has already been a few instances where the dogs have come across lions and instead of backing down have actually closed in and confronted the big cats- lets hope that all, if not most of the pups survive.
