This image of a leopard with an unusual kill was made at Chitabe camp in the Okavango. Giraffe do not normally feature on a leopard’s menu but this very unusual event has been witnessed a couple of times at Chitabe. The very first time this behavior was documented it was a tiny female who pulled down an adult male giraffe- the entire episode was captured on video and won the overall prize on a television program.
