There needed to be numerous elements present to make this image work- firstly, I had to find the leopard before sunrise, the leopard had to be sitting on a prominent position so I could line him up with the rising sun. The sun was a little higher than I would have liked but the smoke filled sky helped with keeping the intensity of the direct sun down. They all add up to a nice image
