Many times they go through but this time he goes over
Everything was coming together, I knew where he was headed, we had sufficient light (although not great), we had water and plenty of it. Now all I needed was this impressive male lion to charge through the flooded channel. Most times they do just that, wade. But today he decided it was to cold, or something and he launched himself over the small channel. Gone was the image I had envisioned but being prepared for anything allowed me to make this image. Spoiler alert he did wade through some deeper water later on.
