The adrenaline was certainly pumping this morning as 2 “new” male lions to the Chitabe area took off after a herd of buffalo. Circumnavigating the flooded channels tested local knowledge to the limit in order to get an image of the big males crossing a flooded channel. An epic moment but soon after they simply gave up and and went to sleep- maybe this evening?
