The reason I say that Murphy’s Law applies out here is the fact that almost 100% of the time things work against you. If there is fresh tracks on the road, they will not be going in the same direction as you are. If there is a single blade of long grass the action will happen behind it. A bird or mammal will pose perfectly only when the sun is directly behind them. But in this image, the lion pride walked east towards the rising sun and the persistence certainly paid off.
