This is a very contentious subject as over familiarization with an animal is not a good thing, yet with time, patience and respect an animal will tolerate the presence of guides, vehicles and guests allowing for some amazing sightings. As soon as our presence has an impact on the behavior of the animal we have gone too far. Respect and awareness of the impact of our presence are two of our golden rules that should never be bent or broken.
