Nestled in the fork of a tree, this well camouflaged female was almost imperceptible. Until a tiny ray from the rising sun broke through the surrounding foliage to highlight her face- it was a very brief moment that made the difference between a usable image and one that would go on the discard pile. Always expect the unexpected – be prepared for anything.
