Who says that cats don’t like water- here in the Okavango all the big cats simply don’t have an option and although they tolerate the flooded channels when they can, they simply wade in a swim when they have to. We spent an awesome morning with a pair of mating leopards @chitabecamp in the Okavango delta of Botswana who performed better than out wildest dreams. The female has just recently lost both her tiny cubs to a pride of lions and it is nice to see her mating with the dominant male in the area.
