Namibian desert dwelling leopard in full flight
One of my favorite images that captures the speed, power and elegance of a leopard. While skimming across the desert landscape of the skeleton coast in a helicopter searching for those elusive desert dwelling black rhino we chanced upon this leopard who was probably feeling very vulnerable in the open as he moved from one rocky outcrop to another. A very quick burst from the camera and he was gone. Only after a busy day documenting the amazing work of the MET capturing and moving rhino did I get time to sit down and go through some images. The total blur of the image except the feet gives this image a power feel of poetry in motion.
