When persistence pays off- the morning started with a single (or what we thought was a single female) moving with a determined gait and making low contact calls. When she veered off into some pretty thick inhospitable bush we decided it wasn’t worth following. But she was going somewhere, so the idea was to try and get ahead by doing a loop in front of her. the timing was perfect, as we approached the pan the first lion popped out and they just kept coming, turning a somewhat “normal” morning into a great photo opportunity.
