Cheetah cubs playing tag in the Okavango
At this age cheetah cubs have energy to expend on play. While their mother does all the hunting the cubs are busy honing their hunting skills through playful interaction with their litter mates. In a few months these cheetah cubs will venture out on their own and survival will become a tenuous task. Watching mom hunt is one one thing but actually doing it for themselves in another. Sitting back with a longer lens allows these cubs to play and interact without feeling pressure from a vehicle with allows me the opportunity to make these images.
