Lion Pride Drinking
Most of your time as a wildlife photographer is spent trying to be in the right place at the right time in order to get maybe one or two elements of photography in your image. Sometimes, and not often a few elements come together to make a frame. This image has a great setting, nice subject and the right time of the day with nice light, also there was not an insect on the water or a breath of wind. Technically correct and all that, this image doesn’t have an edge AND as people who follow my work will know that lions just don’t do it for me- unfortunately I’m just a dog kinda guy.
