Swamp cats don’t have the luxury of avoiding water like most cat species prefer to do. Here they have to adapt or possibly die. As the water inundates their territory lions often have to cross floodplains and even Chanels where they have learnt to swim in order to survive- it’s winter and that water is very cold but what can one do when there is a carcass on the other side.
