This is probably one of those “once in a life time type opportunities”. Shy solitary leopard who mostly operates under the cover of dark stumbles onto this porcupine who is also very nocturnal AND this all takes place with enough light to capture the entire encounter. Although the leopard showed a lot of interest in the porcupine those erected quills kept him at bay and eventually the leopard gave up and went in search of something else.
