Leopard playing with her cub

Leopard playing with her cub

The motto here is high risk, high reward. Shooting on the edge certainly ¬†provides one with amazing and often unexpected results. That is why I’m fond of dust, backlit, slow motion blur and any combination of the these. This leopard playing ambush with her cub was a fantastic opportunity yet the results were predictable. I kind knew that if I shot enough frames there had to be a few that would capture the playful moment. Imagine if there was a mixture of low light, some dust and all this movement- there would definitely have been less usable images but there may have been just that one frame that was utterly spectacular- who knows?
