I’m not sure exactly what factors come together to produce these colors but It may have something to do with the type of soil producing the dust. The colors are certainly more enhanced during the dry season when it is bone dry and the bush crackles with static electricity. The dust is harsh on camera equipment and mixes well with sunblock, but every animal, bird or insect that moves disturbs the fine dust that creates movement in an image.
