The beautiful female is “Rose” who recently lost both her tiny cubs to a pride of lions and the male is a big young male who recently became the dominant male at Chitabe camp in the Okavango. We were privileged to have spent the day with them mating, crossing water, climbing trees, mating in trees and the quietly relaxing until all started again.
