Photography at it’s limits
Finding a subject to photograph way before the sun has risen creates many challenges- lack of light is obviously one but it also affords you the opportunity to try shoot something different, a little more edgy, and a bit of a high risk high reward kinda image. The high contrast between the dawn sky and the backlit cheetah in the shadows will test any camera to its limits. Shooting with a decent file size in RAW will certainly help and understanding the light and your camera. This is definitely not one of those images that is shot on auto anything.
